Land Conservation Summit 2000: Advancing the Debate in the New Millennium
The purpose of the conference was to advance the debate about private land conservation and the use of conservation easements into the new millennium. Goals for this conference included: Critical assessment of recent trends in the conservation of private lands. Identification of present problems and discussion of potential solutions to concerns of the legal community in private land conservation. Proposals for new directions in private land conservation. Expansion of the conservation debate by linking public policy with the social and economic values of individuals.
