 as national and field based case studies will be presented and discuss
 ed with the objective to contribute to a common vision of the directio
 ns the evolution of forest policies\, institutions and the regulatory 
 framework should take in response to the growing importance of those i
 nnovative economic mechanisms. Special consideration will be given to
