Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forest Management at the Forest Management Unit Level
This is the third event in a row of conferences. The goal of this conference was to provide forest managers and policy makers with management tools which may enable them to assess the effect of a given practice on the sustainability of the management unit. The objectives of this conference included: gathering scientific community expertise in disciplines that are not easily or currently reached by foresters; promoting co-operation between scientists from different parts of the world or from different disciplines; enhancement of co-operation between researchers and stakeholders for case studies and implementation.
